  • Grants to K-9 School Sites: $12,700

2008-09:

  • Elementary School Librarians: $180,000
  • Secondary School Librarians: $45,000
  • Elementary Schools Science (Grades 4-6): $360,000
  • Secondary School Science: $60,000
  • Secondary Schools Core and Elective Classes: $630,000
  • K-12 School Music Programs: $240,000

2007-08:

  • AVID,* $13,000
  • Safe Schools Ambassadors in Junior High: $12,000
  • Program Specialist for K-12 Special Education: $25,000
  • Elementary School Outdoor Education, $25,000

2006-07:

  • Elementary School Outdoor Education, $20,000
  • Secondary Schools Library Grants: $30,000

2005-06:

  • Elementary School Outdoor Education, $15,000
  • Secondary Schools Library Grants: $30,000

*AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a program that prepares students who are typically “first generation” or have struggled early in their academic accomplishments for a college future.
