Student success and achievement cannot be solely defined by test scores or class grades. A child’s social, emotional, and physical well-being forms the healthy foundation necessary for effective learning and school success as well as overall life satisfaction. DSF believes that mental health programs, counseling services, drug prevention programs, and related resources are essential to promoting positive mental health and improving school climate.

Provide mental health programs and counseling services to enable students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Ensure all students have access to the resources and tools they need to develop 21st century skills for success and fulfillment.

Equip DJUSD faculty and staff with the resources they need to continue providing high-quality education in safe and supportive environments.
